This community program was designed specifically for older adults who want to understand and manage their finances with greater confidence. Sessions are held at DIF community centers in Xalapa, Veracruz, in accessible locations and at no cost.

From Registration to Graduation

Step 1

Free Enrollment

Visit your nearest DIF community center or contact us to register. No fees, no paperwork required to join. Bring a valid ID for sign-in.

Step 2

Introductory Session

The first session covers the program structure and gathers questions from participants. This shapes the emphasis of subsequent workshops.

Step 3

Core Topic Workshops

Dedicated sessions for each topic: pension verification, fraud prevention, mobile banking, and estate planning. Each stands alone or builds on previous sessions.

Step 4

Open Q&A Rounds

After each session, participants can ask questions related to the topic covered. Facilitators provide general educational responses only.

Step 5

Completion & Resources

Participants receive printed reference materials to take home. Optional follow-up sessions are offered on a rolling basis throughout the year.
