For Participants

Everything you need to know before attending a workshop: what to bring, what to expect, and how to make the most of each session.

What to Bring to a Workshop

Sessions are designed to be simple to attend. There are no fees, no forms to fill in advance, and no prerequisites. A few items make participation smoother.

Official Identification

Bring a valid government-issued ID for sign-in. This is used for attendance records only and is not shared with any agency.

Your Smartphone (Optional)

If you have a smartphone, bringing it to the mobile banking session allows for hands-on practice. It is not required to attend.

Pen and Notebook

Printed materials are provided, but many participants find it helpful to take personal notes. Bringing a pen makes this easy.

Your Questions

Each session includes time for questions. Think in advance about situations you have encountered or concerns you want to understand better.

What to Expect

Sessions last approximately 90 minutes. They begin with a brief overview of the topic, followed by a structured presentation using visual aids and printed handouts. The facilitator explains each concept in plain, everyday language.

Participation is entirely voluntary. There is no requirement to speak, demonstrate anything, or share personal information. Questions are welcome throughout and are always addressed with general educational information, not individual advice.

The final 20 minutes are reserved for open questions and discussion. Participants often find that others share similar concerns, which makes the group format valuable beyond the formal content.
